Retouching and Framing the Image

You can add borders or shading to an OnMerge image, or adjust its brightness and contrast.

DO NOT attempt to change OnMerge Images' Text Wrapping around the image, nor make it into a Background image. If you do so, the image will become an ordinary non-OnMerge image.

Borders and Shading

Click on the OnMerge Image to select it, then either:

  1. Right-click on the image and select Borders and Shading in the pop-up menu.
  2. Use the main menu:
    • Select Format to show Word's Format Ribbon. Some controls are not available.

Adjust Brightness and Contrast

Click on the OnMerge Image to select it, then:

Select Format to show Word's Format Ribbon. Use the Brightness and Contrast controls on the Ribbon.

Remember that the Brightness and Contrast settings will be applied to all images that are merged in that place. Make sure that any adjustment you make is appropriate for all such images, not just the image you're currently previewing.
